Below is an overview of the various Nature and Forest Therapy Guide Training scholarships. These are provided by EcoWisdom to ensure equitable access to our programming. When you apply to the training, please indicate which scholarship you are interested in.
Community Organization Nomination Scholarship $1,000
If you are actively involved in a community organization engaged in social justice or environmental conservation and you plan to use your skills as a nature and forest therapy guide to support the work of this organization, we invite you to send us a letter of support. The letter from the organization should state that they will facilitate your leadership in offering nature therapy within the organization during the year following your graduation, crediting EcoWisdom. A brief report will be expected. Deadline October 15. Apply asap!
Scholarship in Support of BIPOC Community ($500)
To support the inclusion of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour in our training program, we offer a $500 scholarship to a member of this community who has a vision of using mindful nature connection to serve members of their community and others. If this is you, please indicate that you are interested in being considered for this scholarship when you submit your application.
Scholarship in Support of LGBTQIA2S+ Community ($500)
To support the inclusion of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, and Two Spirited people in our training, we offer a $500 scholarship to a member of this community who has a vision of using mindful nature connection to serve members of their community and others. If this is you, please indicate that you are interested in being considered for this scholarship when you submit your application.
Social and Environmental Justice Scholarship ($500)
We will offer a $500 scholarship to an individual who is planning to use their training in exceptionally impactful and innovative ways to support social and environmental justice. If this is you, please indicate that you are interested in being considered for this scholarship when you submit your application.
Scholarship in Support of Disability Community ($500)
To support the inclusion of people living with disability, chronic illness, health issues or challenges related to ageing in our training, we offer a $500 scholarship to a member of this community who has a vision of using mindful nature connection to serve members of their community and others. If this is you, please indicate that you are interested in being considered for this scholarship when you submit your application.
