Julie Nowak (she/they) is a multiply-disabled
and neuroqueer educator, consultant, and writer
based near Tkaronto (known as Toronto,
Canada). Through their project “The Seasonal
Body”, Julie explores the intersection of disability
justice, nature connection, food justice, and body
liberation. A big focus in their work is nature accessibility, which they share about in educational resources, presentations, consultations, and an upcoming podcast. Julie is a white person with Celtic and Germanic ancestry. They view both the #LandBack movement and ancestral connection as important for nature-related work. They are also passionate about linguistics and language justice, and can optionally provide their work in English, French, and Spanish. You can learn about Julie’s work at SeasonalBody.org
