Kay Seet Chee Chan

Kay (she/her) has been a lifelong practitioner of self-reflection and student of the human condition, which culminated in pursuing a career as an Occupational Therapist. Her love of trees, plants and natural scenery has been a source of companionship through her life including during times of hardship. Kay identifies with multiple intersecting identities including being a neurodivergent and queer cis-woman of Malaysian Chinese heritage and a child of first generation immigrants. She was born and raised on the traditional and unceded territories of the Musqueum, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Peoples. Kay considers the enactment of compassion for self and all living beings as a key orienting principle to fostering health for the body, spirit and planet at large. By continuing to practice mindful nature connection herself and with others, Kay hopes to assist others in their personal journeys in a manner that fosters hope, resilience and empowerment.
